Day 5: Home time tonight!! ok so its mainly shopping today, it is very cloudy and had another little drizzle this morning. looks like more to come. bit chilly today aswell, the jeans are on.
well we have just been around the Palladium shopping centre which is right next to our hotel, had some grub and coffee. (you would love it in there nan they got Marks n Sparks and a costa coffee shop he he)
next we will be off looking around in the Old town shops and market. before we get some dinner and catch the plane home :(
We also might be able to fit the wax Museum in as it was closed again yesterday.
Anyways, We have loved Prague it has lived upto our expectations with all the beautiful buildings. aswell as many other interesting elements. its also very easy to find your way around if you have a map, and everything is all within walking distance. it is a very clean place to.
The most annoying thing though is that you have to pay to go to the toilet practically everywhere you go (even mcdonalds). Most of the shops are so expensive even souvenir shops, its mainly all designers shops round here (Gucci,Prada,Luis vuitton etc) so its alrite if your rich!!!
Food and drink can be pricey aswell but if you venture out or spot some bars/restaurants down the side streets there the ones that are cheap.
We stayed at the Ibis praha hotel in the Old town which is basically in the middle of it all sightseeing etc i def recommend it. its quiet, cheap and free wi-fi he he.
Finally i would just like to add that Claire is a plonker for example thinking that St Vitus Cathedral in Prague castle was actually St Pauls, All the tripping/falling down curbs, steps and cobbles (oh yeah do not wear stillettos or any high heals) its a definate trainer place, and last but not least she thinks we are using the Euro instead of Czech Crowns (Korunas). although in some places you can spend Euros.
Anyway enough rabbiting on got some shopping to do then a plane to catch!! :)
Bye for now till my next Adventures xx
