Thought I'd put another quick update in here before I move onto Hoi An.
I'm currently in Hue where I have spent the past day and a half. The weathers a lot cooler here so no sunbathing (damn it!), and it's also raining today so I thought I'd write another blog seen as there isn't much else to do ;o)
Although it has rained we've all had a brilliant couple of days. First we visited the Imperial Citadel of Hue, which is a huge complex of temples, pavilions, moats, walls, gates, shops, museums and galleries, featuring art and costumes from various periods of Vietnamese history. I enjoyed it and got some fantastic pictures, but I got a little bored after a while! For the second part of our day we hired some mopeds (with drivers Mum don't worry!!!) and they took us round all the small villages surrounding Hue - so much fun!! We stopped at a small village for lunch and saw some random sights, like a plastic bag full of live chicks. I was asked whether I would like to buy them but I politly declined!! Then an old Vietnamese fortune teller told me that I was going to get married at 30, have a baby boy at 32 and a girl at 35, and that I would be meeting my husband at 27 and that our first meeting will be in Thailand - so watch this space! Haha! All good fun :o)
From there we went onto another small village for lunch which was lush!! I've never had such a good meal, and the food kept coming and coming - it was my ultimate dream. The rest of the group were full but I was still going. They don't call me a pie for nothing!
In the evening we went to the King's Restaurant in the centre of Hue which offers theme nights where you dress up in traditional Vietnamese royal clothing and eat an eight course royal style banquet. It was amazing and we had such a laugh dressing up! The food was also very, very good!!
Tomorrow we are off to Hoi An where we hope the weather will improve and we can finally get some sunbathing in on China Beach :o)

Sarah B Reading this in the office over lunch - very jealous. Glad you're having such a fun, interesting time. And don't worry about the weather - it's stormy, windy and raining in MK today; so much, much worse! Looking forward to hearing more...
