Day 3: Yotvata

Started work today... I'm working in Caza with Clara, and some other people. Anna is working in Houdia (cactus). Caza does more or less consist of growing salad and prepare them for shipping.

My first working day at Caza was fine, even though I ended up washing a lot... My favourite activity ;p lol... After Caza and dinner we relaxed in the swimmingpool which is quite nuice by the way =) After spending 2 whole hours in the pool, we found out that perhaps it was time to get up. I think our fingerskin highly agrees ;p

After dinner we went to our room to prepare ourself for the disco, which basically is the only thing open on shabbat. Before going to the disco we sat in the volunteer erea with some people, mostly volunteers. There I got to make my first Israeli friend too, Eldad. Other people I met this evening was Ben from Germany, Daniel from Uruguay, Tim from South Africa and Mischa from Holland.

At the disco we had a lot of fun. We were either dancing inside, or sitting and talking on the desert rocks outside the disco. Eventually we went home, and went to bed.
