Hi,
It's Sunday afternoon and therefore the whole of Spain is closed. We're in a town just outside Cordoba, drove up from Nerja yestarday after a night out and a delicious curry. Oh how we have craved curry, there's only so many meat products and paella you can eat!
It has been visitation central over the past couple of weeks, first a visit to Dunc and Debbies cave house not far from the Sierra Nevada. Dunc had a intinerary of excellent local things to do, had lots of booze and free tapas and resurrected the 'pegging' game (this invloves sneaking a peg onto someone's clothing and sniggering to each other until they notice it). Good times!
Next was Justins mum and sister in Malaga, which also invloved a trip to Ronda, a town perched high on rocks with an impressive bridge connecting the old town to the new.
Then was The Lynd, aka my mother who flew into Malaga and we went to stay in Nerja, very nice coastal town with some awesome limestone caves (Lynda's first ever caves!). We did a day trip to Granada to the Alhambra. My tip for the Alhmabra is if you can't get tickets to the palace just buy the garden ticket and go anyway. You get to see the entire site but just not the inside of one building, which couldn't even find anyway!
Well back to killing time until normal service is resumed tomorrow, I'll just have to sit in the sunshine and read my book, oh it's a hard life! Hehe.
Fare thee well for now,
Sarah & Justin
