Not a cloud in the sky today .. ( Brid would approve !! ) Headed up north today stopping first at the Honey centre. Lots of bees busy making honey. We had fun trying to find the Queen bee whose role is only to lay eggs and be responsible for Hive Morale ! What a great job ! The shop was full of every imaginable product that contained honey or has anything remotely associated with bees. Lots of honeys to taste and manuka honey to buy. Then off to Ransom wines...

Started the day with watching George ( marty's godson ) play rugby. It is a bit like breathing - they start playing competitively at 4yrs old here. Lots of excited parents screaming from the sidelines and their enthusiasm not dampened by the onset of black clouds and the sheets of rain that eventually followed. 25 of the Robinson clan then descended onto Gwyneths place. 7 kids under 7 - it was very busy ! Jake and Tane have discovered the PS2 game Buzz Junior ...

Can't believe it is midwinter ! I started the day with a great run around Meadowbank here in just shorts and a t-shirt. Beautiful weather ! We started the day with a climb up "one tree hill " - now only a tree stump remains. The climb up through fields was quite steep and we had to manoever around sheep ( what a surprise in NZ ) and their droppings. From the top - great views over Auckland city and the extinct Island Volcano Rangitito. Lots of love...

City of sails - a lovely wander around the America' cup village and then off to Gerb and Caro's for dinner. And we managed to stay up later than 10pm - something to do with the wine tasting !!

Thank goodness for the swimming pool at Singapore Airport ! A chance to get refreshed after 13 hours flying. Ready for the following 9 hrs ! Arrived in sunny Auckland this morning. The Robinson welcoming committee were at the airport to greet us. Jet lag has now hit all us big time. 2 down before 5pm ... and the other 2 struggling. Can't wait to get to bed and looking forward to feeling more human tomorrow !
