Rio was crazy, amazing and hectic. The carnival parade was extraordinary. The costumes and floats were out of this world, everything was over the top and so extravagant. The only thing i was expecting more of was choreography. A lot of the parade was pple walking/dancing down the runway. We were there for 12hrs! Got home at 7am. Super tired. Also throughout the week they had street parties, which consisted of 100s of 1000's of pple walking/ dancing down the stree...

I stayed here for only 1 night, I didn't plan that very well, it was beautiful here, a sml coastal town, a bit up market, with nice shops, restaurants and houses. I went to the beach on the one day I had there, I was given directions by the guy from the hostel, which was good, however there were NO. Street signs anywhere! But made it without any errors! So I arrived back in Salvador after a 5hr boat, bus, ferry, taxi journey. It's getting pretty crazy here because of carnival. There are decorations thru the streets and pple plating music, singing and dancing in the streets, it's incredible, so many pple, I can't begin to imagine Wat rio will be like... This is the island I went to for a few nights, instead of Salvador. It's absolutely beautiful and there was hardly anyone there. Arghhhhhhhhh. Missed my flight this morning.. I admit I was running late, however I still had 40 mins til takeoff, I walker straight to the front and found a girl working for the airline, showed her my itinerary and she pretty much said ok and told me to wait in line, so I did. I wasn't sure if the flight was on time or not, and assumed it wasn't as she told me to wait I line with everyone else, I'm very pissed off and extremely angry and now have another 4.5 hrs...
