This is the island I went to for a few nights, instead of Salvador. It's absolutely beautiful and there was hardly anyone there. The water closest to our posada (accommodation) was warm, in the afternoon we waked around to the other side of the island and it was like hopping into a bath!! No exaggeration. I actually met 6 Germans from Salvador who were also going them so I asked if I could join them, i don't think they minded. Then I ended up staying with them too, I slept on a mattress on the floor. The place was stunning, like a two stores tree house! The place was surrounded by trees/plants like the rainforest. And only 2 mins walk to the beach.
