Rio was crazy, amazing and hectic. The carnival parade was extraordinary. The costumes and floats were out of this world, everything was over the top and so extravagant. The only thing i was expecting more of was choreography. A lot of the parade was pple walking/dancing down the runway. We were there for 12hrs! Got home at 7am. Super tired. Also throughout the week they had street parties, which consisted of 100s of 1000's of pple walking/ dancing down the street behind a truck with music or a band. I went to one and they were playing Beatles music. So there was lots of partying in rio. My last two days there were spent doing the touristy things like sugar loaf and Christ the redeemer. Also I visited the national park there, where there were waterfalls we could swim in. Was nice.
