Coachella 2012 - check. Omg totally knackered. Hauled butt to get in for early slot by band of skulls and then took if easy on day three with a few quiet margaritas and tequila sunrises. Is it wrong that we all decided to stay in the VIP tent all day? We still watched all the bands on the main stage. Day two check Another Brit day with Noel Gallagher, kaiser chiefs and mighty kasabian. Buzzcocks and radiohead. Weather came good but Denis still got to wear his jacket so he was fashion happy. Bit of star spotting at the bar but no paul McCartney this year. Our villa is huge and lovely but we don't get back till 2am and charge straight out at 11am which is a shame. Proper knackered at this stage,festival going is epic work.

Day one coachella tick. Big first day, highlights were Gary Clark Jnr taking us as close to the Hendrix experience as any of us will ever get. Great show. Busy day flitting between yuck,ema, pulp, arctic monkeys, wu lyf and the grand finale the horrors. Big beautiful days of music. But - it rained!! In coachella - unheard of! Crazy wind and proper chilly.

Wrapping up in palm springs, it's been pretty fabulous. Warm dry days filled with swimming shopping and eating. But our attention had turned to festival days and the bands start in 13 hours. A massive Friday to start with the horrors not on stage till midnight, must pace ourselves for the long day and night ahead! Tequila, tacos and rock n roll in the desert. Doing it tough in the springs. Settled in at our oasis in palm springs. I'm getting good at this hotel selection thing. We have a boutique hotel that opened last month all to ourselves and the place is divine. Hosted by the lovely Richard and Cornelia it's a real find.
