Big weekend just about wrapped up. Finished on a nick cave murder ballad, we just couldn't bring ourselves to do the chilli pepper thing, but we did have a snoop dog chilli n cheese dawg for evening snacks. There is a lot of LA leather and tatts looks piling in for the Chillis set, best we leave them to it. Saw Kurt vile in the hot afternoon sun then tame impala played a psychedelic set as the sun dropped behind the desert mountains, it was pretty cool. But last night was probs the weekend highlight especially for Deno as new order played an amazing set. They had everyone dancing before they came back on for an encore of joy division tracks with some powerful and poignant visuals of Ian Curtis - kids were crying tears of joy, it was pretty awesome stuff. There has been a lot of arm waving, saluting and fist punches this weekend with 3 of our band heroes delivering all the classics we've loved for the past 20 years. Probs best coachella ever for us. We are heading back to the resort for an evening swim and to see if Deno can get in AND back out of the hammock.... A fiver on him getting stuck for sure.
