We had an early start to drive up to the sequoia National Park we stopped off at a big cat sanctuary which was amazing! It was a conservation park where they offered guided tours of some of the rarest cats in the world. We loved it and got some great videos of the cats whilst learning lots at the same time. We set off into three rivers to see what whitewater rafting trips were available we had just missed one so we headed to the lake which we had passed on the way in, Lake Kaweah we had a picnic at the side of the lake and soaked up the sunshine! It was the warmest it had been so far on our trip! We had a pit stop last night basically in the middle of nowhere it was like a truckers stop, but it was just what we needed to refresh ready to hit the road and head south! We left the RV site and headed for Highway one down to the Big Sur, it is an infamous road which goes down the Pacific coast and is well known for its sheer cliff drops and spectacular scenery! Wow our First day with no plans and it was great, I headed out for a morning run along the beach which was amazing the dunes went on for miles and it was so quiet! We used the gym and did some laundry which was boring stuff but we enjoyed the rest! We played pool after tea and walked down to the beach for sunset it was a nice chilled day and just what we both needed!
