So left paraty and got the over night bus to iguassu falls, right on the border with argentina and paraguay.
The overnight bus (18 hours) was abolutely immense) the bus had seats that almost reclined all the way , it was like first class on an aeroplane, and after a travel sickness tablet i went straight off.
We arrived at foz de iguraasu ( no idea if that is how u spell it ) which is a town by the falls, and after a quick shower we saw the falls on the brazilian side yesterday, yoiu walk along the falls for about two hours as they are quite big. There are these squirle type rodent things (bigger than a sqirel ) they are protected and so litterally crawl up your leg trying to find food ! so cool.
I have also seen loads of lizards and snakes and things. We then came back and just chilled by the hotel pool, before heading in to watch sky tv in our air conditioned room. i´m sure backpacking isn´t meant to be this easy !
Today we had a car take us over the boarder into argentina (got my passport stamped again ) and this is where 75% of the falls are. we did a trk for about 4 hours in total but we had a jeep ride throught the jungle, a small boat ride explaining details abou the flora and fauna and then we had a speedboat ride that took us right up close to the falls, where we got completely soaked. luckily we stripped to our bikinis first !
off out for our last night in brazil tonight , should be good fun, but no more caprinias after this one ! well we´ll see ! off into paraguay briefly tomorrow to get a charger for my camera as all the electronic stuff is really really cheap there! then we get another 0vernight bus (only about 12 hours) to urguay, where i hear you can pay about ten pounds for a whole days worth of pampering including massages facials body wrapsetc... so this is turning out to be both an energetic and relaxing break for me . looking forward to seeing you all soon.
