We arrrived here about 8am after taking the overnight train from Bangkok! The train ride wasnt bad, although we were only allowed to stay up until about 10pm as all the beds had to be made then and evertone had to be quiet!
Beds werent too comfy but managed to get a few hours sleep.
Once we got to the station we got a bus to our hotel which is basic but nice! We then pretty much went straight out to a trip we had arranged to a Thai cooking school! This was really fun and we got to cook and eat about 4 dishes (two of which were curry.)
Later we are going to a temple I think and then to the night bazaar which is meant to be really good! Then tomorrow we are off to Laos and not sure exactly what happens then but I know we are doing a boat cruise and will hopefully get to ride an elephant! Anyway thats all for now as this website is very slow and im running out of time!
