hello hello

well once again have got slack in the old sta travel journal, i apologise!!!!!!

well it is now the 17th june and dont think i have done this journal since 17th may, so hope your ready for a long old read!! hehe. think i mite be boring and do it in dates as to what i have done in the last month.

18th to 22nd may - not sure if any of you have heard of fraser island...its sooo coool!!! its a massive sand island, and we did it with a company called koalas. u are all put in groups of abpout 11 and yuo have all supplies and van for 3 days on the island. bit of a squeeze in the old van. there were 4 groups that went onto the island, we defo had the best group and were called the A team, the other group we got on really well with was called the goon platoon!!! u go round the island to all different points via the beach, then set up camp on the beach and cook your food all together. have to be careful because of all the dingos, stray dog things!! anyway it was so much fun and would recommend it to everyone!!

22nd to 25th may- well this is when me sian and lucy become POSH PACKERS!!! anyway the day before we went to fraser island we met these two army lads in our rooms and clicked witht them stright away, they were in the goon platoon on the island, got on so well with them. when we got of the islands and after a few drinks we all decided that we would travel with them up the rest of the east coast. as they are working people they were posh packers and had hired a car, so we jumped at the chance to travel with them. we did a total of 4 triops on the greyhound!! our first trip with the boys was to a place called agnes water. here we wangled our way into a 4 and half star aprtment resort, basically empty resort and we had the most amazing place to stay with swimming pool of our balcony!! had the funniest week and a lot of goon was drunk aswell as lovely bbqs coooked by the boys. we were really sad to leave here and the boys couldnt get over how much us thre girls can talk non stop!!! lol. on our day we were leaving they bought us loads of pressies to keep us quiet, this turned into a bit of a competition to win points and we had to have quiet time in the car cos they couldnt cope!!! eek.

26th to 29th may - whitsundays. this is where we did a sailing trip around the whitsundays and stayed on a boat, was really nice but the weatehr wasnt great bit of a shame. still had an awesome time, did some diving and snorkling, saw a turtle!! woop woop.

29th to 1st june - magnetic island and mission beach. had so much fun here, once again ended up in a gorgoeus apartment for the 5 of us. the island had some gorgoues beaches and we had such a fun day on a beach to ourselves and plyaed loads of cool games!!

1st to 4th june - cairns. coming to the end of aus, so so sad, me and luce were gettin very upset esp to leave the boys. couldnt believe we had travelled with them for 2 and half weeks. in cairns we decided to extend our trip for an extra month..woop woop..this was so we can go to laos and cambodia!! cant wait. if hadnt extended we would of been home in ten days..scary!! in cairns we did white water raftin..sooo cool...2 drowning simulators!! eek.

4th to 7th june - sinagpore. this was a lovely city, really clean and most helpful people. havent seen so many shoppong malls before in my life. went to china town which was cool.

8th to 13th june - malaysia. we went to melaka, cameron highlands, kuala lumpar and penang. best place was cameron highlands... really lovely place, a lot of rain as it is in the rainforest, but nice to be away from the heat for a couple of days. we did a tour which took us into the tea plantations and to an aboriginal house, where we trekked through the jungle and danced with this family in there house and played all their instruments..very funny!!

we are now in koh tao in thailand...so so nice!!! me and sian have just finished our padi diving course, so we are now certified divers!! woopp woop. saw another turtle and nearly saw a shark, was gutted we missed it!!! had a thai massage aswell the other day, was so good, but bit strange!! lol. we are moving onto koh phangan tomoz, looking forward to it and doin the half moon party on the 22nd which should be cool!!
