We left Brazil and crossed the border into Argentina, which I was really pleased about. I loved Brazil, but Argentina is just brilliant, plus it meant I could understand people a bit better and practise my Spanish again. We were lucky and got a few days break from camping and stayed in a hostel in Iguazu. On our first day we arrived in the evening and chilled out with some of the other tour trucks, and the next day I had another lazy day watching the football and lying by and swimming in the pool. After leaving the Pantanal we headed to Bonito, getting nearer to the Agentinian border. Bonito was lovely and our campsite was great with a little river for us to swim in. So its taken me quite a while to find a computer that will let me open up this site to update my trip...such a lot has happened. Went to the Pantanal, which is bascially tonnes of marshlands and water with lots of wild animals and birds to see. It was so damn hot there that we slept in hammocks for 2 nights which was lovely. Saw so much wildlife: deers, caiman, tucans, water rats, howler monkeys, armadillo, parrots, water spiders, snakes, racoon type animals, ...

Well I´ve started my budget expeditions trip. The truck ´Shanna´is great although shes full so its very cosy and she doesn´t have AC which is a shame, but the windows will have to make do.
