Its our free day in Paris and the sun is shining! To avoid the ques we had an early start and made our way to the Louvre. This building is enormous and it is impossible to capture is in one photograph from the ground. Once inside we headed straight for the Mona Lisa we already had a crowd swarming around her. I
She is keep behind a wall of glass that us roped off so visitors cannot get too close. Did you know there are over 300,000 artworks at the louvre and if you viewed each of them for 10 secs you would be there for 4 days?

We caught the metro back to the Eiffel Tower ( which isn't as beautiful in the day as it is at night all lit up). We walked across the bridge and down to the bank to catch a cruise that went past iconic buildings ( art galleries, museums etc) and circled Notre Dame. Amazing gothic architecture!
It was wonderful sitting on the deck of the boat the warm sun and hardly any breeze. Thats when my best friend told me she loves me and asked me to marry her!

We had paninis for lunch before going to see the moulin rouge and the red light district.

We had dinner in a French restaurant near the cabaret show where we tried snails! Then we were entertained for a few hours by the cabaret show, with it's amazing costumes and sets. There was a performer who rode a unicycle with one leg whilst he placed tea cups and saucers on his free foot and flicked them up onto his head. Very cool.
