Hey peeps!

Havent been on here for a while so thought I would give you a quick update - although im not entirely sure anybody still reads it but oh well just incase!!

Since our last blog i have also started a full time job doing HR for the NSW Roads and Maritme Services which is a rather cushy number to be honest as its good pay, good location (picture for this blog is the view from my office window- not bad eh?), good hours and most importantly good tea and as much as i want!!RESULT!! Ive become a bit of a jetsetter too as im flying all over the place for work which is a far cry from the likes of Shelton and Longton Health Centres (no offence!). However, on the downside the weather has taken a significant turn for the worse (story of the trip so far really!) as it rains ALOT and its gone rather chilly in the mornings and evenings which makes hearing the news of Britains mini heatwave a bitter pill to swallow but hey nevermind!

We have been out and about alot seeing different things - fireworks at the harbour for Valentines Day, Snorkelling at Watsons Bay, and few nights on the town too - although drinking here is a bit of an art as they dont really like you drinking too much so you spend the night trying to avoid eye contact with the bouncers so they dont throw you out (quite a difficult task when you've had a few let me tell you!).

Off to Perth next week for a wedding (wedding crashers springs to mind) im assuming it will be the same as any other wedding ie: Dancing queen will be played (my que to head to the bar), plenty of bad dancing and even worse outfits but we will have the weather on that side which is a definate bonus and a good chance to top up the ever fading tan!

Managing to catch up on my soaps too as we have double episodes of Corrie and Eastenders Monday to Friday and Sharon and Mossy are soap addicts much like myself so its always on. Dan tries to pretend it annoys him but he loves them too! Another highlight of the apartment is the great wifi as it means we can actually have proper conversations with everyone back home rather than it cutting off every few minutes and spending the whole time asking if we can hear/see each other!

Its been lovely catching up with you all and we are nearly on the home straight now so will be back before you know it!

Miss you all lots, particularly my bestests (You know who you are!)
