Spent the day relaxing by the pool today as the sun was shining which was much needed. Went to Freemont street in downtown vegas last night which was good but was a bit more blackpool esk!! Spent a few hours giving in to my shopping habit yesterday - love a bit of retail therapy on a dull Thursday afternoon! Met some middle aged Aussies in a bar on Wednesday night (hence the picture) who have offered to put us up for the night in Melbourne when we get there. The guy at the front was called Doug and he was obsessed with how we said Dougie so kept making us say it and then they would all laugh...funny at the time but i suppose you had to be there! Booked the hire car for tomorrow to drive to the Hoover Dam and the Grand Canyon and then to the hotel in Flagstaff. Cant believe our time in Vegas is nearly over, just getting ready to go out for tea and cocktails (Vodka and Orange mainly due to the price of the cocktails in the hotels) and to say our final goodbyes!!
