Well we got all exicted about Montevideo as we had been told it was nice, dont bother its a shabbier and less interesting version of BA, stay in BA ans save yourself the money or if you must do a day trip as you can walk the good bits of the city centre in about 2 hrs. The only redeeming thing was that i found an old block selling antique crystal for a pittance and after cajoling Steve into letting me get some money out bought a bag full for 15 quid. The hotel was dire and teh food was terrible not much else to say really, happy to get back to BA.
