We were advised by Helen at the Glebe to take the coast road to Fox so we did and went Via Wanaka. On our way out of Queenstown we went to Arrowtown. It's a lovely little homestead village and had some cute shops and restaurants. We got some sweets from the weigh shop and carried on to a local winery. Had a tour of the vines and they were having problems with frost in the region and were using Helicopters to move circulate the warm and cold air to combat this. V ...

After much searching as previously mentioned Mother and I had booked at B&B in akaroa a small peninsular town south of Christchurch and boy was the place stunning! After many winding roads over very big hills, with sheer drops to the side (and much panicking by Mom and I over dads driving) we crested a hill and this beautiful bay opened up in front of us. Hi all not dead just been a little busy with the old sightseeing etc to get to a computer an update our blog. Arrived in Christchurch after yet another delayed flight. Literally bumped into Mom and Dad walking through the terminal, who had unfortunatly just sent our bus transfer off as they thought we hadnt landed.
