Well what can i say! We arrived in queenstown yesturday after our overnight stay in wanaka. We went to the cinema which was well funky. Apparently when any of the residents of the town get a new sofa they take their old one to the cinema so there is a quirky mis match of furniture...there is even a care made into seats to watch the film so that was really good. Then before we left we went to puzzling world which is the most random place ever. Although me and clare couldn't get out of the maze so we cheated and left by the emergency exit...it was so annoying!!! When we arrived we dropped our bags off at the backpacker(we have yet another deluxe room with our own cooker etc in) we are sharing with a french girl off the magic bus aswell and an irish guy who just came out and has got himself a job so is staying(very jealous!!). We then headed straight off to book our adventure stuff. Claire booked a sky dive, which she did today and the pictures look amazing. And i booked a double thriller!!! this included a jet boat over the shotover river, which was amazing...you travel at high speeds and the boat does 360 turns etc while at high speed so it is realy cool(or sweet as..which is what they say over here and it's catching as me and claire have strated saying it!!!) then straight from that i went to do a white water rafting afternoon. That was so amazing i just want to do it again. I some how ended up in the extreme group and the guide purposly tipped our raft in one of the rapids!!! it was so amazing, the feeling you get when you are rowning through grade 5 rapids is unbelievable...i fear i may be addicted and want to do it again!!! We have now booked an extra night here so we don't leave queenstown till thursday now!! we are off to milford sound tomorrow which is meant to be really nice and then on thursday doind the gondala, the luge and considering doing a bungee jump!!!! i don't know if i will be able to go through with it though!!! Anyways i hope everyone is ok and katie i hope you had an amazing birthday and a great party...i'll take you out for a drink next time i'm home as it's legal now and obviously i wouldn't have dreamt to before your 18th!!! xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
