If you get the chance check out the night markets at South Bank - you'd like them! Did the artificial beach freak you out? Also you're quite close to Gold Coast so if you don't intend visiting there you could make a day trip to Surfers Paradise from Brisbane - well worth it if you wana visit lush beaches! Take care xx
