Good morning! Ive been in Sydney since Saturday, so thought id best write a little something before i forget like i have with the tour in the Red Centre! Im in another 10 bed dorm, sharing with some really nice people, one of which im meeting in half an hour for a wander round the city. So, on Sunday (after washing on Saturday night...how fun! I turned white things pink! Yay!) i went to the Blue Mountains...i figured i might as well go there straight away and take full advantage of the free city orientation the hostel do on Mondays. The tour with Oz trails was horrendous! Laughable now, but at the time it was a joke! The guide picked me up at the hostel, and a couple werent on the list. Thankfully they managed to get on the bus, but i dont think that it was the best start! We drove for ages, getting to a place where he said he didnt know if the road was still closed... yep, you guessed it. It was. So he turned around and drove to the next spot for a look out and photos. 'Hmmm, this isnt really looking its best, we'l come back later'....WHATTTT?! i wouldve liked to have seen for myself. So we went for an early dinner. This was at 11 after doing nothing yet, seeing nothing and having to put up with lift music, freezing air con, smelly old folk and the guide who kept nearly crashing and told us so on his mike (which he didnt turn off so you could hear him breathing!) Grrrr. SO the afternoon was better. We got to ride the scenic railway and cable car. Although the stupid man made us do it so we did the railway backwards, when the forwards way looked so much better. It was soooo steep and had no seatbelts! I love things like that! I met a girl called Zoe who was cool. She was visiting her friend i Perth and came to Sydney for 3 days. Shewas from Weymouth, and worked in finance. We spent the afternoon taking photos on a great look out spot and then got a ferry back toDarling Harbour where we walked back to the hostel (and her hotel) We wet out for drinks at night at the hostel and Darling Harbour which was nice...apart from the couples!

Sorry, but again im off early cos my internet keeps running out here.... so ill send this and then update you after my bridge climb tonight!!!
