Our overnight cruise ship arrived in port in Stockholm, Sweden early this morning. As we were there much too early to actually check into the hotel, we dropped off our luggage and ate a delicious and nourishing breakfast at a nearby McDonald's. Bad food notwithstanding, several of us decided to accompany Mark, our professor, around the city before going back to the hotel to check in.

We did a full loop, crossing mostly through Gamla Stan, the Old Town, and then back through the island our hotel is on. (Stockholm is spread over 13 or so islands)

After arriving back at the hotel and checking in, we all took a quick nap before the group had to meet up again. Later that afternoon, the group split up into three-man teams in a scavenger hunt across the city of Stockholm, finding and sketching different clues to things unique to the city. After the game, the group went to dinner, and then back to the hotel. As we walked back to the hotel, most of us couldn't resist stopping to take pictures of the gorgeous sunset over the city.
