Hello my loves!
How is everyone? I have lots to update. Bit of a sheme but we didnt get to go to the Abel Tasman National Park at all cos it was cancelled due to bad weather. Its ok tho cos we have seen so many other beautiful areas here! Spent the day having a nosey around Nelson instead and when the weather cleared up we took a walk to the centre of New Zealand, some amazing views from up there. HAd a good night out too, went to the Grumpy Mole and a rock club called Mollys, dancing like our usual idiot selves! HAd a really really good bunch of people on our bus too, such a laugh! Its a shame cos we are pretty much all going our seperate ways in the next few days but hopefully the next bus will be just as cool! The day we left Nelson we stopped off at Nelson Lakes National Park and had a walk round Lake Rotoiti, i think this was when i realised how beautiful NZ really is! The lake was crystal clear, surrounded by forest  and snow capped mountains.  From there we had a stunning drive down the Buller Gorge where we stopped off and i went on a two and half hour horse trek through forest and along the beach. We did loads of cantering along the beach and made our way back through a stream, my horse did not like getting its feet wet tho! I loved it! Stayed in Westport that night before heading off on another beautiful drive down the West Coast to Lake Mahinapua. We made a few stops on the way to do a coastal walk to a huge seal colony (so cute!) and also at the pancake rocks and blowholes. It was pretty cool at the pancake rocks, and we saw some dolphins. Our last stop before Lake Mahinapua was at Greymouth where we had an hour to get stuff for our fancy dress party that night. The theme was our favorite thing about Kiwi Experience. We decided that it was the bus and all the people in it so there we were running round town finding things to make a two person bus that we could run around in all night! We did it tho and even if i do say so myself it was sweet! You just have to see the photos! And we won the competition! It was so much fun tho, there was room for one more person so people were having rides in it all night! It was such a great night! Just this pub in the middle of nowhere that we had to ourselves all night! No one actually went to look at the lake tho, everyone was busy in the pub or making costumes! The party was great, there were some great costumes and everyone was just having a really fun time! I wish this group was staying together the whole of the trip! The guy Les who ran the pub was a bit of a legend too, he was 81 yrs old!  I cant believe we won the competition, won a canyon swing in Queenstown, it would be ok if i wasnt such a huge wimp! Basically we have a 60m freefall drop followed by a 150km/hr swing across a canyon! Im sure it will be great fun but im so scared, we're doing it tomora so im feeling quite nervous! I still have loads to tell you all but i'll have to save it for later! Wish me luck for tomora!
