After spending the night in Portage la Prairie, Manitoba we hit the road again. We were to meet Bob's son, Mike in Dryden, ON where he was bringing a car back home from the mine in Red Lake where he works. So considering our trailer was empty, we loaded the car on the trailer and Mike joined us in the Motorhome. While we were loading the car on the trailer at the Husky in Dryden who pulls up but Amy's boyfriend Tyler who is working in the area. I would have texted him to tell him we were there but I was under the impression that he wasn't in Dryden anymore but working his way back to North Bay. Anyway, he saw the Motorhome and knew it was us so stopped by for a wee visit. Back on the road and it didn't take Mike long to join in with Bob and Paul in giving me a hard time. I am severely out numbered now. Sigh!
I worked on wedding pictures for awhile until my eyes started to cross and then I decided to stretch out on the couch and relax while the guys talked 'Men Stuff' -cars and boring stuff like that. We got into Thunder Bay just after 9:00 pm and decided that this would be our resting place for the night. We hadn't had supper yet so we found a Montana's and parked the Motorhome in an empty parking lot across the road. As we got seated in a booth I received a text from Rod Riopel asking where we were tonight. I answered that we were in Thunder Bay and he replied that he was too. I told him we had just arrived at Montana's to grab a bite and he replied that he was just beside Montana's at the Days Inn. He popped over and had a drink with us. Go figure that he would happen to be booked in to the hotel next to where we would happen to stop. We decided to keep the Motorhome in the parking lot for the night as we would pull out in the morning before people starting arriving for work.
