While we had planned to take off early this morning (Saturday), we had a few set backs. We couldn't get the generator in the Motorhome to work so we had to borrow Darryl's portable generator.
We finally left North Bay at 4:00 with the hopes of making it to Sault Ste. Marie.
As we pulled into Chester's gas bar about 15 minutes out of North Bay to get fuel, we noticed a brake smell. Front passenger side had a seized calliper. Bob and Paul pinched the brake line to the wheel and we took it slow to Sturgeon where we stopped at Canadian Tire to get another pair of vice grips so we could pinch off the other side. Back on the road and stopped at an Amish restaurant between Sturgeon Falls and Sudbury for supper. The rest of the trip to the Soo was uneventful. Stopped at Camp Walmart and shut down for the night at midnight.
