Flights booked. Adventure is with Active South America out of New Zealand. We will fly into LIma. Stay for a day and then on to Cusco to get used to the altitude for a few days.

So many things to get. We will have a porter carry our big stuff but still need a day pack and the warm clothes for the altitude. And a bunch of other stuff. REI member sale in May. we are waiting for that.

In the meantime, I am reading Turn Right at Machu Pichu. It's about a modern day jounalist retracing the steps of Hiram Bingham III who "discovered" Machu Pichu.
