Started our adventure in the
Big Apple. Mike had never been and it has been about 33 years for me . Rained all day Saturday - our only full day there - so went to the Guggenheim - wow !! They had an expo on Italian futurism so quite appropriate for the next leg of our trip .
Had dinner at a steak house called Empire Steak House - had pasta with lobster and mike had sea bass - guess the steak will have to wait . All in all felt the NYC energy but want to go back and explore in good weather and for more than one day ....
