Hi everyone! Have been in Koh Phanang for the last three nights. It's so beautiful here. We came here by open top taxi, across some pot holey dirt roads. Was great fun, and on arrival we were greeted with a coconut and a necklace made from fresh flowers. That night we went for a meal and went to a few bars. The bars are so relaxed and chilled out here. Some have hammocks which just puts me to sleep. You need to take off shoes and that just makes the whole place more relaxed. We found a great place for breakfast, and they have about 10 puppies that always come running up to us. We are now thinking that we might stay on the islands for a while as we all enjoy it so much. We all have our own basic beach huts, ensuite with fans, and huge double bed. About a three minute walk from beach and bars, except when it's dark and after few Thai whiskeys with a torch it takes a little longer. It's monsoon season here now so it's been quite cool. In the morning it's really hot such a kick. Yesterday we went snorkling, we only stopped once while on the boat, which was a little disappointing. We only saw one type of fish, orange and green coloured. This morning I got up to see the sun rise, was so beautiful, and so warm that time of morning at 5 am. Unfortunatly tonight is our last night here. We have a taxi, ferry then overnight train tomorrow towards River Kwai. Then our last night will be in Bangkok and we start our next tour the following day. Will put up more photo's now.!
