Hey!

Just a quick one to let you know that I have flown in to Christchurch ok. It is like Christmas here. All the leaves are orange and brown as they were in Auckland but here, they are carpeting the floor too. Yea! See, it is one of my favourite things walking through crunchy leaves. So at the mo, I really like it here. Makes me feel all christmassy. It is cold but a nice kind of cold. I actually can wear a coat without been laughed at (though not many people are wearing them). It is quite olde worlde and for a city, it is remarkable like a village. They have took the whole English place name thing to an extreme here too. When I was in Auckland, I went through Oxford and Cambridge (they even have their own little boat race) but here there is Salisbury Street, Gloucester Street and even Sherbourne Street and of course, I am in the little region of Canterbury.

Anyway got to go and charge my new digital camera. Feel really guilty but you can not do a world trip without a digital camera. Only a month left and I wanna make the most of it!
