WHAT A WEEKEND!! We have spent two days of boat-filled fun! The weather conditions were absolutely perfect for a little trip over to the Isle of Wight, and before we knew it we were bouncing through a little bit of chop with only slight winds to hamper our journey. We came across some shallow areas, sometimes with just 1.9ft of water.

As we got closer to the Isle of Wight, we spotted a long stretch of beach that had a few boats moored on the beach - we decided to have a cup of tea there. The sand was soft and golden and a row of trees lined the back of the beach -it is the perfect beach for us as there are plenty of boats for Shaun to analyse and i am hoping to go back and just sit and read the paper one day, although we are going to have to buy some proper beach chairs for a bit of comfort!!

We returned to Priory Beach today and it was even busier - and hotter! It knocks spots of Sinah Sands, but you have to be a bit careful getting to it when the tide is low....

Boat search continues for Shaun - me, i am still not bovvered.
