Hi guys...

Well I arrived all save and sound in North Carolina. The flight from New York was on the smallest plane I have ever seen, it was really quick actually considering we left almost an hour late.

Once signing in at uni I was told I couldnt get into my room coz they were fixing the door. But about half an hour later they changes their minds (the door was fixed today) . So I put all my stuff in my room and went exploring. That night we had a welcome dinner thing in the basement. Just ate pizza ( so American :P) and talked and met people. There are people from all over the world, its quite crazy! There are about 3 other Aussies.

Then yesterday I was woken up by Kat banging on my door at 7.45...reminding us to get up in time for orientation. Then it was sitting through a 3 hour info session (brain went into overload!!). After going for lunch there was an information fair, and we had to organise things like insurance, bank accounts and that. So boring stuff!

Then came the highlight of the day...our trip to Walmart :P And not just Walmart...but SuperWalmart :P haha. But we spent like 2 hours there and bought lots of stuff for our rooms and that. Once we got back we had a late night breakfast in the basement and it was bed time.

After sleeping in this morning, Alex and I had to go to our academic advising appointment. After going downstairs to find 2 police officers wandering the halls we finally navigated our way to where we had to be. Our advisor is really nice, we were there for like an hour and a half. After we went for lunch and this afternoon attempted one of the campus tours but failed and left. Took an outing to get pizza for dinner and that was it.

We have a free weekend now :D Yay...sleep time!
