Well have had a extremely hectic day in Surfers Paradise and what a place it is. Went on a 2 hour canal trip behind surfers paradise beach to see where all the rich and famous roam (photos to follow soon). The houses are totally amazing and blow the socks of miami and places like that. The ride itself was a little long but very relaxing. Well today we went to the barrier reef to have a little look and this is what you get to see a little heart shaped reef which is just so the best thing ever i reckon. We docked in Airlee which is where all the tours go for the reef whether by air or by boat its the place to be. Well today had a mini adventure arounf port douglas and then off to Cairns for a trip on the skyrail and a army duck which was great. Took a short stop to four mile bay which is literally a beach that runs for four miles, unfortunately there was no swimming allowed as it is stinger season, however they do corner of a section of the beach with nets to try and combat this problem. Well we are currently making our way safely through the Great Barrier Reef at the moment and headin to Port Douglas which is the stop of for Cairns. Anyway the pilot has to come on to get us through these tricky waters but its totally amazing just sailing past these random reefs and islands in the ocean. Well visited Darwin today, unfortunately one day here in the North of OZ really isn't enough to be honest with you. I only went into town mainly because of how hot it actually was and i didn't really feel up to doing much more to be honest with you since we are heading down to the Great Barrier Reef next.
