After our full day of travelling (it took about 24 hours to get from Paraty to Iguassu, but the night buses are a lot more comfortable that panes!) we went straight to see the Brazilian side of the falls. They´re pretty huge and it was amazing to see - there are loads of butterflies that are quite happy to sit on your hand for ages!
In the evening we went to an all you can eat buffet (it always sounds like a challenge!) come cabaret show which was good-they did a few tango dances which I´m dying to see more of when we get to Buenos Aires, and some Caporeira (not entirely sure how it´s spelt!), which is a Brazilian martial art that looks like it hurts a lot!
Yesterday we went to see the Argentinian side of the falls which was probablt twice as amazing! It was a lush day and there were lots of rainbows, it was very pretty! We went in a speed boat that took us under the waterfalls-we got soaked but it was worth it-we were so close! We walked along the platform to see the Devil´s throat-again, it was amazing-there was so much water gushing down from abpouit three different directions.
Last night was very random-we went to a Brazilian house party which we were invited to by our taxi driver´s brother who knows our tour guide! It was just our gap group there and they put on a BBQ for us and made us some Caipirinhas, which was always going to end in dancing and sore heads this morning!
At 4 o´clock today we catching another night bus to take us to Uruguay.
