We decided to try out a Maori experience evening, and so visited the Tamaki Maori Village for a Hangi meal and entertainment. On the bus our Maori bus driver insisted that we were in fact travelling in a 'waka' or canoe and gave the waka the challenge of choosing a tribal name. Glen being Glen contributed to this tribal naming, and in doing so got himself the position of 'Chief' of our tribe, the Kea Tribe.
