The hustle and bustle of Saigon made quite a contrast to the tranquilty of Mui Ne, especially being told to "go to hell" by a strange old lady as soon as we arrived!
We got stuck straight into the musuems and made it to the War Remnants museum just before it closed. Some really disturbing exhibitions about the war, especially the GI's brutality and ongoing damage of Agent Orange certainly made us think twice about having a photo with the Tanks and Fighter planes outside.
In the morning we went to the Art museum which was pretty much a variation between portraits of Ho Chi Minh and War scenes... not too interesting! We went shopping in the central market for lunch and bought things to weigh down our bags! The afternoon involved another museum about the war which seemed to be the major focus of all tourist attractions, that evening we took a tiresome walk across the city to a tiny Pagoda.
Had dinner at a street stall and booked our trip to My Tho to see the Mekong Delta.
