Hi Hugh, I see that you have eventually reached North Berwick. Hope you and Anne are all well and enjoying the fantastic weather that we have all enjoyed while you were on the high seas. If you get this message send a mail to my address. All the best John

Hi Anne and Hugh,
good luck on your journey home, let us know how we can reach you when you get there...
Allegra and John are on Kefalonia, I went home last week. John will continue on his own to our new winter place Leros. The passage from Tunisia to Greece went well, we did two long passages stopping off in Malta in between and some 2 weeks of short hops in the islands. Reminded me of your summer last year...
all the best, Ute (& John)

Hello there Anne and Hugh
I have just acquainted myself with your recent exploits. You certainly are having lots of fun and adventure. The photos on the site are great and lets me see some of what you've been up to.
We had a few different holidays over the "summer" and I really enjoyed myself seeing some of Scotland and watching Caden try his hand at new things. Missed the sunshine aspect of a holiday, but the fun side made up for it.
Caden has now started P2 and is going through a growing spurt. He's now 4' 1 1/2" and grew 1/2 in one month! I'm beginning to feel very small and he's convinced that he will be taller than me very soon.
He is coming on brilliantly at swimming and loves going to his gymnastics and drama classes. At the end of this month he starts at the Yamaha Music School so no doubt we will be subjected to endless playing of his keyboard, Maybe he can play a duet with Hugh on guitar the next time they meet.
I hope you are both well and still enjoying life aboard the Saltwater Gypsy. Caden keeps asking me "When is Auntie Anne coming home?" His mouth drops when I say maybe next year.
Love to you both.

Hi Hugh and Anne,
Hope you are well and enjoying the sunshine. Anna is growing up fast (3 in January) and we had a bouncing baby boy called Danial 3 months ago.
I've just set up a new company (Pyreos), which we will be announcing investment for and setting up a website in December, to develop IR sensor arrays (David Binne is also involved), so exciting times.
Hope to see you both soon.
Regards,
Scott

Ahoy there!
Back in sunny Edinburgh and missing the Majorcan sunshine.
Thanks to you both for a lovely time. Caden will talk about it for a long time to come. Please thank Jan for giving Caden his first dinghy ride - it was a real thrill. Anne, I think we will be eating home made chicken nuggets for some time now. I think you have given him the cooking bug.
Hope to read about all your adventures coming up and wish you both well on your trip this summer.
Lynn

Hi Anne
Sounds like you've had a busy but fun time over the winter and are ready to head off again. I think staying over there another year sounds like a great plan, hope you make it over to Greece. I trust Hector enjoyed his treehouse experience and that the birds managed to stay out of his way.
I only have a week left here in New Zealand, can't believe i've been here for three months already. Time really does fly when you are having fun. I don't remember ever having worked at SQA!! I head over to Sydney next week and hope to have a couple of months or so in Australia before starting the homeward journey, so plenty of time yet for the lottery to come up!! Not sure i'll be out your way on the way home which is a shame because it would be great to get a chance to catch up and swop stories but I'm sure I won't be back long before I'm heading off again so maybe catch you next time round.
Anyway, take care and have a great trip this season. All the best
Janice

Hi guys and I hope you had a good Christmas and a happy new year and I guess it was all very different for you this year. It was good to see you both back here but I bet your having better weather now. We had a good new year up north in our caravan but we were very disappointed that there was no snow, so no skiing. We did find enough for a snowball fight though. I have added a gilroy album to your sight (took a while I know), so enjoy the new photo's. Cheers Sherron XXX

Happy New Year Anne & Hugh,How was Christmas on the boat? A bit of a challenge cooking christmas dinner? Did santa manage to find you? Did you do a get together with the other berthed boats for christmas/new year?Weather here has been a bit mad with all the outdoor new year celebrations cancelled due to storms. Was still fab being off work for nearly 2 weeks. Back now though and can't really remember what I'm meant to do here!
Oh well should go and look keen. Hope you are both well and enjoying a mild and mellow winter! Liz XX

Hi Anne, was good to hear from you. Hope all is well and you are settling in for your winter berth. Im currently in Quito just pottering about for a week before heading off to the Galapagos. Antarctica was amazing you must add it to your to do list but I suggest using someone elses boat rather than your own!!! Drake passage was totally calm on way south and only mildly choppy (3 or 4 metre swells) on the way back so we were very lucky. Not missing work yet, not really expecting to though!.
Have a fun festive time and keep in touch.
Lynn
Hello Anne and Hugh
Just been catching up with your photo albums and enjoyed them all. The photos of the dolphins are beautiful.
Hope you're enjoying yourselves and that winter in Majorca is better than what we are experiencing here. It was good to see you when you were over, Anne and hopefully we will see you soon.
Caden sends his love.
