hi sally.read your blog make me laught.especailly the one "chinese people".yes,in xintian most people dont use please and thanks,i think it is a custom,people think it is more convenience and simple.such as when by "man man you"(a kind of a car),we say "ting qi"(stop).but i think if xintian local people add a "please" will better:)
