We arrived in Krabi at lunchtime so we had the afternoon to wonder round the town. We walked along Ao Nang beach where we came to a bridge full of monkeys! There were so many which were trying to take tourist food and drink as they walked past (luckily we didn't have anything on us for them to take so they weren't that interested in us). On our 2nd day we got the boat to Phi Phi island - which is gorgeous. The beaches are amazing and the sea was lovely. Unfortunatly we didn't put a strong enough sun tan lotion on (we needed more than factor 35 on!!) and got a bit burnt - DOH! On the boat back from phi phi we spoke to some of the locals where they told us where the cheapest/best places to go were - that night we got food for 30 baht each = around 50p!
On our last day we met up with some of our new thai friends where they took us to railey beach (which is very sucluded and where the king of Thailand goes to stay on holiday - not many tourist were there). We had an amazing time there, and the views were incredible!! Would recomend it to anyone!!
As it wasn't peak season it wasn't rediculously busy at Krabi -which meant when we went down to the pub we were treated like royalty and got sum free games of pool for our group.
