Went out to la Barra on the fifth and had to come home early with a bit of an iffy stomach. Woke up the next day with a full wallet along with the worst stomach cramps in the world. If women think period pains are bad they should give these bad boys ago! Anyways, the sixth just really just consisted of me laying in bed all day letting out the occasional groan every two minutes. By nightfall the pains had eased up however the drops that Dyson had gone to the pharmacy for hadn't seemed to loosen me up at all. With no food in me and it being an absolute mission to drink water I had an early night hoping the pain would go on its own. Next morning the pains had gone but my appetite still wasn't back, forcing my breakfast down passed thru me straight away which was a positive I suppose as at least something was happening. Well enough to at least get out of bed we headed down to bikini beach to hang out for the day. As an added bonus there was a surfing competition on which, although it seemed to be slower than NFL it was good to watch when they finally did something. Returning home, still not fully up for much just chilled out and went to bed. 3.30 that morning the bowels of saint Michael finally opened and the treacherous bug that was burrowing in my stomach reared it's ugly head and ugly it was. For two and a half hours I was on and off the toilet. However the battle was not in vain as the next morning I woke feeling a little tired but ten times better. My movements seemed regular and my mood was up, feeling fresh to take on the move we watched the man u, man city game and got the bus to San Carlos bus station to get the coach to la Paloma. The coach was shorter than expected and we arrived about 5ish, dumped the bags and headed for the beach. La Paloma is a small rural village which reminded me a bit of how I imagine summer bay in home and away to be. being a surfing village the waves were pretty big when we arrive at the beach and we jump straight in for a bit of belly surfing. Afterwards we head home to freshen up and get straight back out, grab a beer from the supermarket and watch the sunset at the beach. Two days after the stomach pains of death life's back to being good!
