Well, we're now in Mission Beach and it is GORGEOUS. The weather is super hot and the people are seriously laid back. It's kinda nice actually after all the cities etc.... Latest update from Airlie Beach - Well, yesterday we went on a FANTASTIC trip around the Whitsundays Islands! We set sail at 8.30am and we greeted by the crew and got free tea and coffee. Our first stop was at a bay containing lots of beautiful coral reef. We got to snorkel which was amazing. Wow, where shall we start! Well, Byron bay was mage chilled and enjoyable. We walked 10km to a lighthouse where we enjoyed some great views. We alson saw a pod of whales in the distance which was great. We went to a market on the sunday which was really hippy but sorta cool. We enjoyed a wander around it and soaked up the atmosphere. Well, we've just spent our last day in Byron Bay and we're sorta sad to be leaving. Yesterday we walked to the lighthouse which is about 10kms there and back so we were tired out last night. The views from the top were amazing and we saw a pod of whales so it was definitely worth the hike! The weather has got LOADS better so I think it seemed even harder in the heat and believe me it was a tough climb. It was up and down steps all the way! I just kept thinking of...
