Sarah's Sailings in 2007
Now this really is a trip down memory lane! The gardens at Wick Hall are open to the public once a year so Mum and I went down to have a look round. We lived at Wick Hall with my uncle 30 years ago, while I was 4-9 years old. Not in the main house, of course, but in Flat 6, part of the old servants' quarters. I was the only child in the area so I had the run of the gardens to myself - great for a tom boy! I had a happy childhood here so it was very nostalgic to come back but I was sad to see that my weeping willow tree was no longer there.
