This is the salt water pool they have downtown that is lifeguarded 6am to 10pm 7 days a week. It covers an area of 4200 square meters and has a capacity of 1100 people. Can't wait to try it tomorrow.

They have a skateboard park the likes I've never seen before. Here is just I picture I took, and this is only about one tenth of what they have. It covers 2 acres.

This is the Boardwalk that runs along the waterfront right up through the middle of town. There is a lot of recreation facilities along the way. Every half kilometre that have 3 exercise stations for the runners ( yes, people were running in 34 degree temperature ).

This is a photo of our condo taken from the Boardwalk. We are on the fourth floor. What a morning this turned out to be. Overnight Telstra shut off the service to our iPad and I couldn't get my emails. After I spent over a half hour on the phone with them they told me I had to visit one of their stores. The nearest one was 2 miles away, so I walked there. When I got there I was told that they needed to see my passport to fix the issue, so I had to walk back to g...

We arrived just before 6, totally exhausted. But we have a beautiful 2 bedroom, 2 bath apartment on the 4th floor at "181 The Esplanade". This is the view from the balcony. This is one of the nicer accommodations we stayed in and only $79 per night each couple. It seems that lodging in the only thing that is inexpensive here. Anyway, we're off the the c*** and Bull" pub for a quick supper and then off to bed. Can't wait to see what adventure awaits us tomorrow...
