These pictures don't do our ride justice. There is no perception of depth at all. It was very hard to judge height and distances. For instance this was one of the highest dunes here and we drove right over the top. Wheeeee!!!!!!

The dunes are about 32 kilometres long and at places are 4 1/2 kilometres wide and the dunes reach several hundred meters. We travelled the whole length and breath of the dunes. What an adventure: I've never in my life seen anything in my life like this. And we had our own private tour guide.
