Grammi took this one from quite far off. This is us sand boarding. The other couple are halfway down and that's me at the top just getting going. What a barrel of fun. Who'da thunk it.

We made these tracks coming down. We then went back up and "sand boarded" down the hill several times. It is like tobagganing except on sand. It really was fun, even Grammi did it several times!!!! The hardest part was walking back up.

This was the type of vehicle we were supposed to be in. This one had passed us a few minutes earlier. And now was bogged down and stuck at the top of the dune. Everybody had to get out to get some weight off the vehicle do the driver could get out. :(

Here's a sand dune ridge. We later drove over this. Doesn't it look like something out of a movie? Our tour guide said that parts of many films are shot here.
