The sub was the most exciting part of the museum for me. 68 men cramped in these quarters for 5 months at a time seems unbelievable. She was 300 feet long, a 25 foot beam and carried 18 torpedoes

Sydney, New South Wales Mar 2, 2012 Today we were awoke by and extremely loud thunder and lightning storm around 6 am. It lasted about an hour and then it was time to get up anyway. Since it was to rain all day we decided to go to the Australia National Marine Museum in Darlings Harbour, just a short walk away. This is the foot bridge over the harbour and the Museum is just on the other side.
