During the night we had our first great thunderstorm.
The rain season here causes daily rain (more or less as it seems) but it's still incredible hot and humid. Oh, and windy...very windy.
Outside you are literally melting but as soon as you enter a bus or any store you need to put on a jacket because of the air condition (Americans seem to love temperatures arounf 15°C...).
We took advantage of Karinas' free day and took the bus to Aventura Mall to spend the day shopping.
Victoria's Secret was our first stop....NEON underwear everywhere! :D
And SALE!
Pink and green and blue and yellow and every one of them causes eye cancer. Awesome!
I found something nice for Marina at Sur la Table and something I should buy for Jonas. Glue-on-Moustaches at Urban Outfitters.
We also dicovered hand sanatizer in cause you accidentally touched your genitals. Just think of it! O0O
A MAC store was easily found, too. So my first Russian Red is mine now. Harr~. They will get more money from me, I can tell that. :D
(Seriously 14.50$ for a lipstick that will cost you 18-23€ in Germany!?)
Just for Anja: I also found the Naked palette by Urban Decay, each one is 50$..want one? ;)
Our lunch took playe at the Mall's Food Corner, where Karina and I got some classic Burger & Fries from Five Guys (those were delicious!) while Sabrina decided to enjoy some Chop-Chop rice-chicken-youdunnowhat.
Stuffed as we were we decided to take the bus home and visited publix to pick up some groceries (Bagels!). Fruits are very cheap here so we bought tons of raspberries, blueberries, watermelon and papaya. Yumme! :3 I'm looking forward to tomorrows breakfast.
To let the evening fade away we took a stroll to the beach.
So we STOOD IN THE ATLANTIC OCEAN! :D
Afterwards we walked over the Espaniola way and Lincoln Street and got some donuts at Dunkin' Donuts (plus some yumme ice tea for me).
Right now we're sitting in the living room, drinking wine and railing about America (Oh, the irony!).
Karina's saying ot the day on the tree-form of demographie: Woop woop! So many old we have to pay for. Wer're going down! :D
