Hopped on an early bus which took us to a quaint little town called Barichara where we had some breakfast and walked around the bumpy stone streets. We had a look in the Catedral de la Inmaculada Concepción before starting the 10km hike to the next little town called Guane. The pathways here are pretty much random rocks in the ground and very up and down so constantly having to watch where you walk and tread carefully. 1hr and 40 minutes later in the blazing sun we arrived in search of a cerveza (beer!). The town was tiny but very picturesque. Time for a few photos before heading back on the bus back to San Gil. Overnight bus ride (14 hrs) ahead of us to get us to Santa Marta on the coast.
