13th: walk around the hostels to find out if anyone is advertising lifts. There are two people but both said that they wanted to leave today. But I rung them, and left a message. I think did the city walk tour checking out the main square, the shopping high street, the museum (which was actually quite good and interesting), adelaide oval and the botanic gardens. There wasnt in honesty anything impressive to see. Pretty boring. But there was a cricket match on in the oval so I sat and watched that for an hour before they called lunch. Then went to the market to find a sewing kit to fix my bag. In the evening chilled out at the hostel. Fixed my bag, sorted out the route for a possible road trip and mileage etc for a reloc. Met auriele who arrived after what seems like a horror ride over from perth. The guy was just out of prison, he shoplifted everywhere they went, he tried to have sex with her on a number of occasions and just before they got to adelaide he drove off and left her at the petrol station owing her $300. glad I caught the plane. In the night watched a couple of films.
thurs 14th: wasnt much to see today that I knew of. So went back to see if the cricket was on. Watched about 2hrs of that. Then went back to the library and spent a few hours there catching up on the usual emails and photos. In the evening a few of the people in the hostel were going out to pj o'brians as it was ladies night. I walked there in the peeving rain with a dutch guy and we got lost. Byt the time we got to the pub we were drenched. Met the other people there and got on of the girls to buy me drinks all night. Well I gave her money but because its ladies night it was $2 a drink for girls and the normal $7 for the guys. So got pretty hammered.
fri 15th: lie in. then went to peterpans to use the internet (booked a tour yesterday so got free internet). Then went to central market to look for a cheap hair cut, but couldnt find one, did some shopping and then just chilled out in the hostel for the rest of the evening.
